    Karakteristika novog elektroničkog sistema upravljanja Progress 2.0 je AWC (Assisted Winch Control ), koja omogućava pravu asistenciju u držanju tereta zakačenog na vitlo uvijek na istoj udaljenosti od glave vitla, i čak i kada operater izvlači ili uvlači ekstenzije ili sklapa mašinu i jib.     PODIZANJE TEŠKIH TERETA

    HEAVY LOADS

    Effer cranes do have these features, especially the models equipped with electronic control systems such as DMU 3000 PlusProgress and Progress 2.0.

    Given the specificity of the scope of work in which you handle heavy loads close to the crane, the crane operator, but also those that are within its operating range, are often exposed to the risk of collisions with the load or machine.

    To guarantee ever higher levels of safety, Effer has included as one of the functions of the new electronic management system Progress 2.0 some devices and solutions for maximum safety and ease of work, such as the Virtual Shield, a  system which protects  the cab of the truck from any collision with the crane.

    Effer has also devised the system Pro.Dec (Progressive Deceleration) which use internal hydraulic shock absorbers at the end of each of the hydraulic extension cylinders. In this way load swinging is considerably reduced, collisions between the jacks in opening and closing  are eliminated and this means much safer and effective working .

    To moving heavy loads is critical to have a good truck stabilization. Effer has thought of everything designing systems like the CroSStab and the new V-Stab:

    • V-Stab: the special position ofthe crane stabilizers leaves a free area adjacent to the base of the machine thus allowing the handling of loads of considerable size and weight. With a standard stabilization base you would have to use a superior class crane to do the same job. The solution V-Stab is available for models from 60 to 150 txm.
    • The CroSStab is an Effer patented solution which constitutes an extremely valid alternative to V-Stab as it allows you to position the left stabilizer crossbar in an infinity of possible angles according to the problems that the operational context presents.

    Both these solutions allow you to operate in the front area of the vehicle using the crane at its maximum lifting capacity. For this reason, Effer is the only cranes manufacturer providing a 360° stability!

    These are operations that require the highest levels of precision in movements, and considerable rotation power, which can be achieved, above all, by the slewing ring system. Choosing Effer cranes for this type of work means relying on machines able to last over time without deterioration in their quality: Effer rotation systems, both cog with slewing ring, are designed with a very low friction index, thereby reducing component wear over time. The register system for mechanical play recovery, present on rotation groups, ensures maximum efficiency even after years of use.

    Effer achieved something almost impossible: combine the lightness of its cranes with the unique power of their performances. Blending the two factors you can have huge advantages:

    1.    Greater structural lightness without reducing strength = greater power available to handle the load;

    2.    Greater structural lightness = greater payload capacity on the truck;

    3.    Greater structural lightness = mounting of the crane even on smaller tucks.

    Effer’s 50 year experience* in the construction of cranes from 2 to 300 txm is applied to the entire range.

    THE STRUCTURE OF EFFER CRANES

    1. EXTENSIONS COME OUT IN SEQUENCE

      A balanced force. An efficient hydraulic system fitted to all extension booms controls their exit order. As a result, the first extensions to come out are those sized for higher capacities and the next ones are suitable for lower capacities. The crane performance diagram is thus optimized.

    2. USE OF THE BEST STRENX STEEL

      A step further. Effer uses high strength Strenx steel for the crane structure. This choice improves structure resistance while keeping the same thickness and allows the most advanced construction solutions.

    3. DESIGN PROCESS COMBINED WITH A QUALITY TRADITION OF 50-YEAR HISTORY

      Everything under control. Effer uses PROENGINEERING and ANSYS software to calculate finite elements (FEM) during its design process. These software combined with many years of experience allow Effer to produce structures which balance perfectly maximum performance, minimum weight and operational safety.

    4. MADE IN ITA LY MANUFA CTURING PROCESS

      The right thickness where needed. Effer manufactures its cranes optimizing the thickness of sheets in each point of the structure. This choice requires a great deal of effort be put into the design and construction, but it allows the crane weight to be reduced sensibly.

      Innovation at work. Effer’s 50-year know-how in the segment of high strength material welding allows very complex processing to be carried out – even in the production of small and medium range cranes.

    5. MATERIALS USED FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF EXTENSION CYLINDERS

      Beyond the standard. Effer uses special materials with higher specifications compared to the common materials available on the market to manufacture its hydraulic cylinders. In this way, high working pressures can be used reducing the thickness and weight of the cylinder barrel walls.

    6. DECAGONAL STRUCTURE FOR THE SECOND BOOM STRUCTURE

      Shape evolution. Effer patented the decagonal boom design for high-medium range cranes. The decagonal section is obtained from a single sheet of folded sheet metal, with a single internal and external robotic welding. This patent reduces the thickness and weight of sheet metals.

  2. IZVRSNA STABILNOST

    Optional base

    The truck to which the crane is fitted has a frame which must be reinforced and made more rigid to resist against stress adequately. For this reason a subframe needs to be placed between the crane and truck.

    Effer supplies as an option on some models a high strength steel self-supporting subframe applying directly to the truck frame.

    Option 1: Integral extension

    As additional optional you can choose the subframe integral extension made according to the truck model, entirely painted and ready to mount.

    Option 2: CroSStab

    Another optional item is the CroSStab, an Effer patent which allows you to adjust the stabilizers diagonally in the opposite direction of the casing, extending the maximum stabilization at 360°. Using the CroSStab you can have a free work area at the base of the crane to carry out heavy lifting.

    Option 3: V-Stab

    For some 60-80 txm range models an integral basel is also available with stabilisers oriented permanently towards the vehicle cabin. Exceptional results in front and side stability combined with compactness of the installed crane allow working in confined spaces. Moreover, thanks to V-Stab the cost of any stabilisers in front of the cabin are avoided, and stability at the front is even greater.

    EFFER OPTIONAL BASE, CROSSTAB AND V-STAB

    1. OPTIONAL BASE

      Stability while moving. Cranes equipped with an integral subframe have a lower center of gravity thus reducing the overall height of the vehicle and rendering it more stable when moving.

    2. INTEGRAL EXTENSION

      More loading space. The use of special steels and the painstaking engineering design enable the production of extremely compact subframes leaving more loading space along the height of the truck.

      More transportable weight. The optional base and integral extension have an optimal weight/rigidity ratio and therefore there are various loading possibilities in terms of weight.

      Customization. Effer provides the complete frame for any type of truck.

    3. CROSSTAB

      360° stability. The diagonal positioning of the stabilizer booms allows the crane to work up to 100% of its performances over its 360° rotation (*).

      Large loads near the crane. Using the stabilizers adjusted diagonally you can handle large and heavy loads near the base of the crane.

      Front loading. The CroSStab system gives better results at lower prices compared to the main alternative solutions for lifting front loads.

      Rotating System. Thanks to this solution, the stabiliser can be oriented in multiple positions on the side of the truck, obtaining great flexibility in crane positioning and the ability to operate where others stop.

      (*) In the limited area between the stabilizers’ diagonals you can have a little drop in performance according to the type of truck. Effer provides feasibility studies upon demand.

    4. V-STAB

      Important angles. With the V-Stab solution, the shape of the integrated base with stabilisers allows an above dumper-truck operating area of as much as 243°: a much higher range than traditional solutions (+35% of the full load).

      No space limit. Thanks to the configuration of the fully re-closable stabilisers, it is possible to work in the tightest of spaces moving even large loads near the truck.

      Free to move. The height of the complete vehicle, crane and equipment, remains under 4 meters for standard trucks.

      Reaching where others cannot. V-Stab allows you to move the load at a distance even greater than 15 meters compared to traditional stabilisation, with maximum boom reach.

      Combined solutions. Effer is able to realize custom stabilisations, such as the XV stabilisation.

  3. JAČE, DALJE, BOLJE

    In the design stage of a truck-mounted crane, the element that more than others gives exceptional solutions is the second boom and the jib with the corresponding extensions.

    These components help to determine the crane performance in terms of boom length, working speed, lifting capacity, stress-resistance.

    The experience of Effer designers made it possible to carry out a series of exceptional technical and production solutions.

    THE SECOND BOOM AND EFFER EXTENSIONS

    1. BOOM SECTION

      Maximum rigidity. The second Effer boom is available in versions having up to 9 extensions. The structure has a decagonal or hexagonal geometrical section, according to the crane dimensions, to ensure maximum rigidity.

      All in one piece. Moreover, the boom and extensions are manufactured using a single sheet metal folded in various points with one internal and external robotic welding.

    2. LATERAL COUPLING

      Maximum length. The second boom is coupled to the first boom laterally, not linearly. In this way you can achieve a very long outreach.

      Interior force. The support structure foresees a beehive shape with internal reinforcements. This solution ensures maximum working reliability and maximum performance of the crane even in extreme working conditions.

    3. EXTENSION CYLINDERS: FASTENING BY MEANS OF SPRING AND ADVANCED ATTACHMENT

      Easy to disassemble. Effer has patented a new spring fastening for the extension cylinders. As there are no retaining screws, the cylinder can be disassembled without requiring specific tools, even after years of use, very easily.

      Always straight. Effer has designed a very advanced attachment for its extension cylinders. In this way they are not affected by the boom bending. The seals wear out less and last longer as they move inside a straight cylinder.

       

    4. SYMMETRICAL LAY-OUT OF EXTENSION CYLINDERS

      Perfect balance. The cylinders are arranged symmetrically in relation to the boom line. Maximum balancing and perfect balance of extensions during output and return maneuvers are thus attained.

    5. BRONZE SIDE ADJUSTMENT PADS

      Adjust the time. Effer uses (external) or fixed (internal) bronze adjustable pads to ensure maximum crane boom linearity over time. This valuable material is more resistant than synthetic materials, which are less effective and long-lasting if employed for the same purposes.

    6. LARGE HYDRAULIC PIPES AND WITH FOLDED SHAPES

      Flexibility. Effer inserts various folds in the construction standard for the pipes of the cylinders hydraulic system. This way, the pipes react elastically to the strain due to the backlash of the crane’s components. Oil leaks and pipes breakages are thus avoided.

      The right capacity. The considerable dimension of the pipes diameter reduces the pressure and temperature of the hydraulic fluid during work. Power dissipation is thus avoided. Moreover, a pipe with a greater diameter allows a high working speed right from the first maneuvers in cold climates.

       

    7. HIGH SPEED SYSTEM AND PRO.DEC SYSTEM

      Unbeatable speed. HSS – High Speed System, included in all models (except for some smaller models) stems from Effer’s extensive hydraulic experience. The system – which uses a regeneration valve – makes the extensions open more quickly, as it recovers the oil which would otherwise go into the tank.

      Safe load. Effer patented the Pro.Dec – Progressive Deceleration System which consists of end of stroke hydraulic shock absorbers inside the extension cylinders. With the Pro.Dec system, the transfer from one extension cylinder to the next takes place at a reduced speed, for opening and closure both. The system reduces load oscillation, making the work safer and more efficient.

    8. OUTPUT IN SEQUENCE

      Sequence valves. Effer, starting from smaller models of the range, uses hydraulic valves connected to the extension cylinders enabling the extensions to come out regularly and in sequence. Therefore, the boom structure becomes lighter, allowing you to take advantage of its greater power to handle the load.

      The right measure. Each extension cylinder is sized according to the extension to which it is connected. The right power for each extension is thus ensured and the sequential extension maneuvers are made easier.

  4. ODMAH OPERATIVNO

    Today 70% of medium-large cranes are used with a winch. With Wind&Drive, the pulleys inside which the winch cable moves are integrated into the crane structure. All operations needed to use the winch are thus eliminated: Switching from “crane with hook” to “crane with winch” is immediate, quicker and less difficult, with better results in less time.

    WIND&DRIVE SYSTEM AND EFFER WINCH

    1. COMPONENTS INTEGRATED INTO THE SYSTEM

      All in position. With the Wind&Drive system, the winch stays attached in the same position under the second boom. Therefore, it is not necessary to move it before closing the crane in rest position.

      Total integration. The turn head on the joint, hook and weight of the cable tensioner are completely incorporated in the system, also with the folded crane.

      No mounting required. The crane hook, used as an alternative to the winch in conventional systems, is integrated in the turn head and is always ready to use.

    2. CONTRAST THE ARROW EFFECT

      Less tension. The Wind&Drive system keeps the cable very close to the crane booms , contrasting the typical “arrow effect” of the structure. This way the alignment between the booms is improved and the cable life span is extended.

    3. CONTROL OF THE WINCH LOAD WITH PROGRESS

      Maximum precisionPROGRESS electronic control system allows you to control the load of the crane winch, displaying its load values from the remote control and making every movement easy and safe.

    4. HIGH SPEED CABLE MOVEMENT

      Even faster. Hydraulic and electronic systems controlling the winch allow the cable to reach a high moving speed, up to 190 feet/minute.

    5. EXCLUSION OF THE WINCH VIA REMOTE CONTROL

      Top safety. The electronic control system allows you to exclude the use of the winch using the remote control preventing accidental maneuvers and increasing operator safety.

      Components protection. The winch electronic components – like the end of stroke system – are located in protected positions, to prevent risks of accidental impacts.

    Effer Rack system ensures a crane rotation angle exceeding 360°, that on average, is one of the widest in its category.

    On the other hand, the slewing ring system allows the crane to rotate continuously and without limits.

    SLEWING RING SYSTEM

    1. CONTINUOUS ROTATION

      Turning endlessly. Effer slewing ring system allows the crane to rotate continuously. For the transport of oil and electrical signal from the base to the moveable part, Effer makes use of an innovative and reliable rotary distribution system which does not set limits to the crane’s maneuvers in any way.

    2. ROTATION SPEED AND POWER CONTROL SYSTEM

      Rotation under control. Effer uses gear motors with various reduction stages. The operator can thereby adjust the crane rotation speed, and check the movement of the load on the hook in an extremely safe and precise manner.

      Very fast, very slow. The various reduction stages of the engine RpM result in maximum operating power even at minimum rotation speed.

      Strong in every sense. The Effer system ensures constant rotation power in any boom working position in relation to the truck.

       

    3. EXTERNAL GEAR MOTOR

      Push with all your might. The external gear motor does not have dimension problems like the internal gear motor. For a medium sized crane, this solution allows you to use high power motors without any space requirement.

      Backlash rules. The external gear motor can adjust the position in relation to the bearing to reduce the bearing/pinion backlash by means of ordinary tools.

       

    4. LEAK-TIGHT SEALS

      Protection from the exterior. Effer cranes’ rotation bearing is equipped with a leak-tight seal between the rotary rings, to prevent water and dust entering in the tracks.

    5. BEARING FASTENING

      Total attachment. All Effer rotation bearings are fastened by means of high resistance screws tightened with a dynamometric wrench.

      Slipping softly. Effer rotation bearing uses two revolutions of ball bearings to reduce to a minimum the rotation friction

    RACK AND PINION SYSTEM

    1. MECHANICAL SOLUTIONS TO REDUCE FRICTION

      Position of the guides. The lower and upper guides of the crane column are at the widest possible vertical distance to ensure their maximum stability and minimum power loss.

      Position of the rack. The position of the rack between the guides decreases the column bending and therefore the friction in relation to the guides.

      Opposing thrusts. The rack is located on the opposite side of the crane boom. In this way it opposes the column bending, contributes to the reduction of backlash and reduces the power loss due to the friction between the column and guides.

        

    2. GEARS OF REDUCED DIMENSIONS

      More than 360°. Effer rack rotation system has gears of reduced dimensions, given the use of special materials. This allows you to obtain rotation angles wider than average, of more than 360°.

    3. BACKLASH RECOVERY ADJUSTERS

      No more backlash. Effer rack rotation system foresees the use of an adjuster which can reduce the mechanical backlash between column and rack over time.

    4. GREASING IN ONE POINT

      All together. Effer designed the rack rotation system so that all the base greasing points are close to make maintenance operations easier.

    5. VARIABILITY OF THE DEAD CENTER

      Versatility. The rack system can be adjusted to vary the position of the dead center in the event of a second installation on a new truck.

  6. BRZINA, PRECIZNOST, EFEKTIVNOST

    he hydraulic system activates all crane movements. The crane ease of use, its long durability, its speed in carrying out maneuvers, and working precision all depend on the scrupulous design process.

    For its hydraulic system, Effer chose to adopt special solutions to achieve an excellent result:

    EFFER HYDRAULIC SYSTEM

    1. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM FLOW CONTROL

      Large distributor. Effer uses hydraulic distributors in all its range which can control large amounts of oil to perform various maneuvers at the same time without any loss of power.

      Simultaneous maneuvers. Thanks to the Flow Sharing system, the oil flow is optimized for each simultaneous movement required by the operator. In this way (and even if two hydraulic pumps are installed), Effer fits only one distributor to control the crane and its equipment, eliminating the loss of power issue in simultaneous movements.

    2. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM POWER CONTROL

      Compensate the power. Effer fitted a hydraulic flow control system equipped with internal compensators, to maintain the right power and speed for all movements also using different crane functions.

      Progressive speed. The use of the latest hydraulic valves allow you to control all crane movements with gradual and progressive speed variations.

    3. LARGE DIAMETER HYDRAULIC PIPING

      Large pipes. Effer applies large rigid and flexible piping to the cranes. The considerable dimension of the pipes diameter reduces the pressure and temperature of the hydraulic fluid, avoiding power dissipation. Moreover, a pipe with a greater diameter allows a high working speed right from the first maneuver in cold climates. In hot climates it helps to maintain an adequate temperature inside the system.

    4. HYDRAULIC FITTINGS WITH FRONT O-RINGS

      Strong seal. To maximize the pressure-tightness in the pipes’ joint points, Effer exclusively usesfittings with hydraulic seals like front O-rings, which are usually used for more heavy works (e.g.: construction equipment).

    5. HEAT EXCHANGER WITH HIGH COOLING CAPA CITY

      Cold is better. Effer fits a heat exchanger sized according to the most difficult working conditions in the majority of its range. In this way:

      • O il maintains medium-low temperatures, even in particularly warm environments;
      • Oil preserves its physical-chemical properties longer;
      • Components and seals are exposed to less wear.

       

    6. THE BEST HYDRAULIC SEALS ON THE MARKET

      Seals. All seals used in Effer cranes’ hydraulic system are the best in their category and are easy to find on the market.

       

    7. PROTECTION OF CHECK VALVES

      Gradual movements. The check valves on Effer cranes have also the purpose of eliminating pressure peaks caused by sudden load movements; and that of performing very gradual and precise movements.

      Protected components. The valves are applied to cylinders by means of flanges which ensure they are just marginally exposed to accidental impacts, and maximize working safety.

    8. CLOGGING INDICATOR S FOR OIL FILTERS

      Clean at all times. Effer hydraulic system filters are fitted with sensors indicating if they are clogged. Maintenance can therefore be scheduled, and damage to components caused by using dirty oil is avoided.

    9. HOOK SPEED CONTROL WITH PROGRESS

      Controlled speed. To ensure maximum safety, Effer integrated the PROGRESS electronic control system into the hydraulic system. The system controls the maximum working speed of the crane hook, optimizing it according to boom position, load applied and truck stability.

    10. BIODEGRADABLE OIL

      Think green. Effer hydraulic systems, without requiring replacement of components, are compatible with many types of biodegradable oils present on the market, while keeping maximum effectiveness during operation and respecting the environment*.

    Work done using Effer cranes is made exceptionally easy and safe thanks to high technology electronic control systems*. Based on the various crane types, Effer offers two different solutions: DMU3000 PLUS and PROGRESS. The benefits deriving from both systems can be grouped in three areas:

    On some crane models belonging to the medium and small range, the movement control system is solely achieved using hydraulic components.

    TECHNICAL POSSIBILITIES OF PROGRESS 2.0

    1. SYSTEM STRUCTURE

      A new era. PROGRESS 2.0 is the new electronic management system that Effer designed for its cranes. It allows the operator to use Effer cranes at peak performance, In great safety and comfort, even when carrying out very difficult operations.

      CAN-BUS Double network. All electronic components are connected together with two CAN-BUS networks that work simultaneously and independently, to allow maximum electronic-system reliability. The first network connects the electronic control units with the radio control and the distributor. The second network connects all motion and position sensors. The CAN-BUS dual network technology means faster fault detection.

      Zero damage. The connections are highly resistant to mechanical stress, thanks to the co-moulded connectors. The electronic components and system sensors are located in protected positions, to prevent accidental damage.

      Everything in order. With PROGRESS 2.0 the different wirings are arranged with multiple-socket jointing, grouping the CAN-BUS connections at precise easily accessible places. All cables can be connected / disconnected individually. So maintenance is made fast and simple.

      Waterproof. The entire system has a protection index of IP 67, water resistant and weatherproof. The connections are watertight thanks to the comoulded connectors.

      Total control. You can also manage by remote control other electronic truck-related features (eg. Switching on and switching off the engine). PROGRESS 2.0 also allows you to integrate other operating functions: front stabilisers, truck-body sides, towing winch, platform, bucket, etc.

      Let there be light! PROGRESS 2.0 allows the activation of any headlights placed on the crane booms by means of the remote control.

      Safety standard. PROGRESS 2.0 guarantees a standard safety performance level C, and for aerial basket, upon request, safety performance level D EN 280:2001.

    2. CRANE CONTROL TOOLS

      Air geometries. PROGRESS 2.0 allows you to display and keep under control at the crane base and on the remote control display the geometrical arrangement of the crane booms.

      Working areas. PROGRESS 2.0 manages 4 different crane working areas: front, back, left and right, providing maximum load capacity according to the truck’s stability and the actual extension of its stabilisers.

      Maximum load-lifting power. Load capacity calculated by Progress 2.0 is always maximized, since the extension of the stabilisers is perfectly measured through magnetic or sensor encoders.

      Performance in sight. The operator always has the state of the crane, vehicle and the load under control.

      Lift the maximum. PROGRESS 2.0 automatically calculates the maximum lifting capacity based on the actual extension of the stabilisers.

    3. CRANE CONTROL TOOLS

      No oversight. PROGRESS 2.0 stores the crane operating cycles and faults detected, and indicates scheduled maintenance operations.

      Numbers add up. PROGRESS 2.0 constantly counts the time during which the crane is on and the time during which the crane is moved. Moreover, it stores all movements carried out at maximum performance, thus allowing you to calculate the use status of the crane and therefore its residual life span.

      Remote help. When needed, remote assistance can be activated by the dealer or headquarters.

      Move your feet. PROGRESS 2.0 controls movement and positioning of the stabilizers by means of the remote control, allowing the operator to work safely even in difficult conditions.

      ”Intelligent” Heat exchanger. The PROGRESS 2.0 system controls oil temperature. The heat exchanger is constantly working to reduce energy consumption and oil overheating, thus extending service life of all components.

    4. EFFECTS ON CRANE OPERATION

      Speed and loading. PROGRESS 2.0 optimizes crane speed according to the load applied and geometrical position of booms.

      Max Speed Limitation (MSL). Thanks to this, PROGRESS 2.0 system manages crane hook speed, with simultaneous movements of the booms. In this way load swings are reduced and any shocks to the crane structure avoided.

      Many things together. PROGRESS 2.0 controls FLOW SHARING, which allows the oil
      hydraulic system to carry out a high number of operations simultaneously.

      Limit achieved. PROGRESS 2.0 indicates to the operator that the maximum operating limits have been reached, being these geometrical or load limits, by displaying words that are easy to understand on the machine and on the remote control.

    5. SENSE –  THE MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, ALWAYS

      Effer developed this solution to increase in real time the performance of the crane in a safe way. Thanks to Sense, the electronic management system Progress 2.0 calculates the stability in each point of the operative area in accordance with the actual extension of the stabilizers and maximizes the load capacity everywhere, also with ballast. The operator can consult customized load diagrams in order to exactly know the performance of his own crane in any working condition.

       

    6. DYNAMIC LOAD CHART (DLC-S)

      This feature of the Progress 2.0 allows the operator to know in advance the performance of the crane before opening it and before lifting.

      In fact, on the remote control display it is possible to read the actual horizontal load chart of the crane, automatically calculated by Progress 2.0 in accordance to the stability conditions of the vehicle and the direction in which the crane is facing.

      In addition, the system is able to show the lifting performance of the crane even in a predictive way, that is in all the other positions of the crane column rotation, different from the booms current one, allowing you to better plan your work (advantage: “Time to money”).

      This function even shows the load diagram also with the crane and the stabilizers completely closed, thus making a real-time simulation of the opening of the stabilizers and the crane, facilitating and reducing the placing of the vehicle.

        

    7. RACE – REMOTE ASSISTANCE CONTROL EFFER

      RACE is the new connectivity system for Effer cranes, developed thanks to Progress 2.0 electronics, that allows you to always stay connected to your crane and to consult the data. With RACE you can manage and plan your work quickly and easily, thus increasing productivity. And your Effer Point service can intervene immediately in case of need via remote access to fix any errors. RACE allows you to monitor the state of your crane from any stationary or mobile device, such as smartphone, tablet, and PC. Furthermore, from RACE control panel you are able to know how long until the maintenance of your crane, and plan in advance the activities together with your Effer Service Point.

    8. STEADY – EFFER’S REMOTE CONTROL

      Over 50 expert crane operators tested all possible remote control layouts and holding positions. Effer has used their expertise to develop STEADY.
      It is is 100% integrated with Progress 2.0, is conceived for the maximum ergonomics and user friendliness of the operators. It is much lighter than other remote controls in the same category, and the commands and display are designed to have everything always under control. This means that you can enjoy optimum comfort throughout your working day. The arms and the hands remain in a natural position while the operator is driving the crane, thus reducing posture strain.
      Furthermore, you can work easily also in low light conditions thanks to its backlight around the display.

         

    9. SAFETY STANDARDS FOR CRANES AND BASKET

      The PROGRESS 2.0 provides as standard the safety performance C level (EN12999) and on request the basket safety performance D level (EN 280:2001).

    1. SYSTEM STRUCTURE

      Safety over time. DMU3000 PLUS is a simple and highly reliable electronic system, which allows you to work with the crane in full safety, preventing possibly dangerous maneuvers.

      No damage. Electronic components and system sensors are located in protected positions to avoid accidental damages.

      All in one. DMU3000 PLUS is a system which besides the crane functions, controls other truck electronic functions as well (e.g.: switching on/off of the truck directly from the remote control).

      Against water. The entire system has a degree of protection of IP67, water and weather resistant.

    2. CRANE CONTROL TOOLS

      Dual zone. DMU 3000 PLUS allows two different work areas of the crane to be controlled based on truck stability.

      360° stability. DMU 3000 PLUS can be also applied to crane with CroSStab base. It optimizes various lifting performances depending on the positioning of the rotary stabilizer.

      Display. With DMU 3000 PLUS you can display the main crane performance elements either on the panel on the machine or on the remote control.

HIRURŠKA PRECIZNOST

Mehanički, hidraulički i elektronički sistem dizalica upravljaju rotacijom veoma precizno. Sinergija između hidrauličkog sistema i PRORESS 2.0 omogućava da kran krostite uvijek pri najboljoj brzini a u skladu sa tipom manevra koji se obavlja. Sigurnosni i testni ventili omogućavaju da se postignu izuzetno precizni pokreti. Pro.Dec sistem kočenja daje izuzetnu stabilnost tereta koji se prenosi kranom. Podesive brončane podloške omogućavaju izuzetnu manevarsku preciznost smanjujući mehaničko zaziranje elemenata krana. Elektroničke kontrole konstantno prate geometriju i vrijednosti tereta na dizalici te dizalica u skladu sa tim preuzima brzinu koja najbolje odgovara za te uslove rada.

DUGOTRAJNOST

Effer rotacijski sistem ima nizak indeks trenja što smanjuje trošenje komponenti. Adapteri zazora omogućavaju da rotacija bude jednako efikasna. CrossStab i V-Stab sistemi mogu jednostavno da se prenose na drugo vozilo u slučau zamjene. Veći hladnjak = srednje niska temperatura ulja: ulje zbog toga duže zadržava svoje karakteristike = brtve sporije troše. Indikatori zaprljanja fltera sprječavaju nastanak šteta zbog pravovremen zamjene ulja. Polužja izrađena sa jednoim varom rezultuju dugotrajnost. Cilindri na oprugama omogućavaju jednostavno održavanje. Napredni sistem kačenja cilindara, kvalitetnih cijevi i crijeva te korištenje bronzanih klizača dodatno doprinose dugotrajnosti. Napredna elektronika sprječava opasno i nerealno korištenje dizalice proračunavajući stepen mogućnosti dizalice u datom položaju. Vitla koriste sajle koje se ne uvijaju dok su elektroničke komponente vitla dodatno zaštićene.

SIGURNOST

Effer rješenje dvostrukog rotacijska sistema omogućava precizno nadziranje pokreta na cijeloj radnoj površini krana za maksimalnu sigurnost radnika i tereta. Sinergija sa PROGRESS elektroničkim sistemom sprečava sve nagle pokrete krana unaprjeđujući sigurnost. Pro.Dec sistem kontrole ulaznih i izlaznih manevara teleskopa omogućava sigurnije rukovanje teretom. Kontrola tereta na dizalici, VIRTUELNI OKLOP i OGRANIĆENJE MAX: BRZINE dovode do maksimalne sigurnosti ljudi i tereta čak i kod najvećih brzina rada.  Dostizanje maksimalnih kapaciteta krana prikazano je na dipleju. Mogućnost isključivanja vitla na daljinskoj okomandi smanjuje jedan od najčešćih razloga nesreća sa dizaicama.
